Leica

Leica is a German camera and lens marque from Wetzlar, born of Ernst Leitz's workshop; the first commercial Leica went on sale in 1925 and effectively created 35mm photography. Leica Camera AG became a separate company in 1986 and remains a leading maker of premium rangefinder and system cameras. (See Leitz.)
