Topcon

Topcon (Tokyo Optical Co., Tokyo Kogaku) is a Japanese optics company founded in 1932; its Topcon cameras included the RE Super of 1963, the first SLR with through-the-lens metering. Camera production ended in the early 1980s, but the company continues in surveying and medical optics.
